Finding Prospects – F.R.A.N.K.S Method


Prospecting is a huge part of building a successful business and the FRANKS method is a very good one for identifying prospects.  Is prospecting important?  Consider this great quote from Randy Gage on the True facts of Building a Business
  • Sorry, kids, but spending five hours chatting on Facebook and sending out some tweets is not really building the business.
  • Checking your back office every five minutes to see what your volume is and if anyone signed up any new team members is not building the business.
  • Calling all your frontline people and affirming how "fired up" you are doesn't get it done.
  • Organizing your stock of vitamins tablets in alphabetical order on your stock shelves does not make your bonus check go up.
  • Cleaning off your desk, catching up on your filing, and putting everything in your briefcase in its proper place are all noble activities and you're sure to get your reward in heaven. But that's not what you get paid on.
  • Remember - we get paid only on the volume produced and the by products that get to the end customer. Period. And we produce volume in only two ways.
    1. Getting prospects to presentations where they join the business.
    2. Getting prospects to presentations where they don't join the business but they decide to become customers.
  • Those are the only two activities that you get paid on. Everything else is a distraction. And distractions cost you money.

F. FRIENDS …. From Church, high school & college alumni, Wedding party, golf & bowling buddies, hunting club, knitting & quilting club, Bingo / card game buddies, movie friends, Dinner Club, dancing club, and coffee group.

R. RELATIVES …. Parents, brothers & sisters, aunts & uncles, adult children, grandparents, cousins, and in laws.   After SHARING PLEXUS with these relatives, make a new list with their friends. 
             
A.  ACQUAINTENCES …. from church, hair dresser, nail tech, massage therapist, chiropractor, dentist, doctors, accountant, insurance agent, real estate agent, interior designer, gardener, florist, caterer, baker, electrician, plumber, grocery store clerk,  people you work out with at the gym.

N. NEIGHBORS …. babysitter, postman, newspaper delivery person, people that live on your street, people that live in your apartment complex.

K. KIDS CONNECTIONS …. parents of your kids classmates, kid’s teachers, principals, coaches, dancing teachers, piano teachers, art teachers, karate instructors, scout leaders, and librarians.
     
S. SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS …. If you don’t belong to any you might want to check it out these: Chamber of Commerce, Kiwanis Club, Rotary Club Lion’s Club, Pilot International,   American Legion, Red Cross, Relay for Life, Big Brother’s and Sister’s, and the local animal shelter.

AFTER YOU HAVE EXHAUSTED THIS LIST …….START ON THE NEXT ONE WHICH IS DUPLICATING THIS ONE BUT FOR YOUR SPOUSE OR SIGNIFICANT OTHER…..

If you do this and do it the right way….do not pre-judge…..share with everyone…let them make the decision about their health & wealth….your business will grow.
