Update to the Plexus Compensation Plan
This update was announced at the Convention 2014, and today we wanted to give you a more thorough explanation.
The purpose of the Plexus Compensation Plan is to encourage Ambassadors to build their business correctly, and to reward Ambassadors when they do so - in as many ways as possible. When we originally developed the Compensation Plan, we allowed spouses to sign up one under the other, whereas most other companies have a 'one Ambassadorship per household' policy. Most couples used this Compensation Plan feature as it was intended - to "double dip" by both working their own Plexus business.
The reason for the update is we have quite a few husband and wife teams that are not doing the business the right way - and in doing so are lowering the value of Plexus Points. Our goal with this update is to raise the value of Plexus Points.
The example used at Convention will be used here and will give you all the details about what the change is and when it starts. Along with written detail in this post, you can view the presentation slides from the Convention... below.
Here's the type of situation that prompted the update: A husband signs up with Plexus as an Ambassador. He then proceeds to sign his wife up underneath him. The wife works hard and signs up both Ambassadors and Customers on her account and is growing her business very well. The husband just does the minimum to be commission qualified and collects a check. Because the husband is commission qualified and above his wife, he will receive commissions on what his wife does in her organization. The issue is by doing just $100PV, this will drive down the point value. Remember, the monthly Plexus Points commissions are based on company-wide PV.
Effective September 1st, 2014 any Ambassador who wishes to sign their spouse up underneath them must be at least a Gold Ambassador in order to do so. For any spousal team that are already signed up, we are asking that they voluntarily get both positions to at least Silver by December 31st, 2014.

The goal behind this change is to raise the value of Plexus Points. We do not like making changes to the Compensation Plan. However, when we do, it is always with the Ambassadors in mind.

Quick and Easy Compensation Breakdown

For EVERY person you sponsor/ new Ambassador:
  • You get $25 or $50 depending on which welcome pack they purchase ($99-$25 bonus, $199- $50 bonus). These bonuses are paid to you, your sponsoring ambassador, and their sponsoring ambassador.
  • Example: Melissa signs on a new Ambassador and they purchase the $199 welcome pack.
Melissa = $50 bonus, Susanne (her sponsor) = $25, Celeste (Susanne’s sponsor) = $12.50
These bonuses are paid WEEKLY so be sure to add them to your final monthly commission.
  • In addition, you receive  5% of their sales ($PV - $100 AQ)
  • You get 5 points per person* (levels 1-3)
  • Level 4 = 4 Plexus points
  • Level 5 = 3 Plexus points
  • Level 6 = 2 Plexus points
  • Level 7 = 1 Plexus point
  • Once Ambassador reach $100PV they are “commission qualified” 
  • Exception: If it is month 1, and they purchase a welcome pack,   the PV doesn’t count towards $100 PV because of the massive discount.  In order for the new Ambassador to receive commissions for the first month with a welcome pack, they must purchase or sell $100 in PV above the Welcome Pack.
*For anyone that signs on your level s 1-3, you get 5 points once they’ve earned $100PV
4th level= 4points
5th level= 3 points
6th level= 2 points
7th level= 1 point
  • You get points by you sponsoring people and your team doing the same thing.
  • The points average $3.50 PER point and they accumulate for only that month. The next month starts your points over again as your team continues to grow.  You get paid on the same points over and over as long as they are commission qualified.  Every month is different for point values. Since this point plan has been in place, the value of a Plexus Point has ranged from $2.82 to $4.89.

Promotions:
  • When you sponsor 3 ambassadors that are commission qualified,  you get a $100 on your following paycheck on the 15th = SILVER PROMOTION
  • When you get 100 points you get a $250 Bonus = GOLD PROMOTION
  • At 250 points you get a $350 bonus = SENIOR GOLD PROMOTION
  • At 500 points you get a $500 bonus = RUBY PROMOTION
  • At 750 points you get a $750 bonus = SENIOR RUBY AMBASSADOR
  • At 1500 points you get a part of the Emerald Pool
You personally sponsor and maintain 6 Ambassadors and have a minimum of 1,500 points per month, with 225 of those points coming outside of your primary leg. Along with being paid on levels 1 – 7, you receive an Emerald Ambassador Pin and share in the Emerald Bonus Pool. 

  • The company only requires us to sell $100 per month which is very easy. Personal order for yourself will be paid at wholesale prince AND are included in your PV. Anything that you order to sell to customers goes toward your PV, and anything that people order from your website goes towards your PV. You will see an amount that you pay when you order and you will see a PV (personal volume) amount. 
  • The PV amount is how much personal volume you get for ordering that particular product. 

Commission Structure:
  • If you have $101-499 you will get a 15% commission check on your personal volume
  • If you have $500+you will get a 25% commission check on your personal volume. They will back-pay the $101-499 and pay at 25% for $101 and up.

Preferred Bonuses:
  • For customers that choose the preferred (auto ship) program there are huge bonus for you
  • Dr. Spencer’s Breast Cream = $8 cash bonus each month the auto ship is in place
  • Plexus Slim = $15 cash bonus each month
  • Breast Cream & Plexus Slim = $25 each month
  • Plexus Slim/Accelerator combo pack = $18 each month
  • BioCleanse 120 ct. = $4, BioCleanse 180 ct. = $5 cash each month
  • ProBio5 = $5 cash each month

Retail Sales:
  • Besides commission, if you stock product and sell it directly at the retail price you make $30 cash on every 30 day supply that you sell. 
Prices:
  • 3 day supply (drink & accelerator) $12
  • 7 day supply (drink & accelerator) $30
  • 30 day supply (drink & accelerator) $120
  • 120 capsules of Bio Cleanse $30
  • 180 capsules of Bio Cleanse $40
  • Pro Bio 5- $35

Commission Checks:
  • Commissions are posted on the 15th of every month for the following month (i.e. July 15 = paycheck for June 1-31).
  • Monthly commissions include: promotional bonuses, retail rewards, preferred bonuses, points, and personally sponsored Ambassadors (Level 1 - 5%)
  • Building bonuses are paid weekly

Plexus Compensation Plan Improvements - Effective October 31, 2014
Please read the following message thoroughly, as it is important that you know this information. We are excited about this update! 

We are making changes to the compensation processes. Starting on October 31st, we are calculating commissions on a calendar month end. You will no longer have to worry about your pay points fluctuating day to day after the month has ended. Rank Achievements will be locked in. In order to implement the requested timing changes, we need to have the following modifications:
  • To be Commission Qualified, in addition to the 100 PV requirement, the monthly Backup Order MUST be active on the last day of the month. 
  • Compensation calculations and Rank Achievements will be finalized the 1st day of the month (following the last day of the previous monthly commission period). Activity cut-off will be 11:59pm (Eastern Time) on the last day of the month. For example, on October 31st at 11:59pm we will cut off activity, and on November 1st the Monthly Commissions for October will be final.
  • Only orders with posted payments on or before the last day of the calendar month will be considered for commissions. There is not a 'grace period' to post payments to orders to become Commission Qualified after the month has ended.
  • If your scheduled Backup Order did not process during the month to satisfy the minimum 100 PV, Plexus will run another Backup Order attempt on the last day of the month to ensure you are commission qualified.
  • If your scheduled Backup Order did process, Plexus will not run another Backup Order attempt on your account. Please be sure to monitor your account to ensure Commission Qualification.
  • Method of payment selection by the last day of the month, can't be changed for the monthly payout.
  • Lexus Program payouts will be on the weekly commissions run closest to (but never after) the 15th.
Monthly Commission payments will continue to be disbursed on the 15th of the following month.
